Hamlet Isn't Dead
Five lovers look to nature for guidance, direction, and solace as they contemplate their experience in love. Reflecting on the meditative quality of nature’s beauty through Shakespeare’s greatest poems, the five Lovers are the Lover in Joy, Lover in Need, Lover in Passion, Lover Lost, and Lover Found. Each actor is equipped with a variety of compositions, so that all one hundred and fifty-four sonnets are represented over the course of their stay. Patrons will find the actors, either by choice or by chance, pausing to hear a single sonnet or lingering through dozens in this unique exploration.
